CARE FOUNDATION

Our charity is the creation of Dr. Krish Satkunan and was founded in 2004 as the KR health and social care group. We have built and run care homes, children’s nurseries and other specialist care services. The values of care and commitment are just as strong now as they were when we began seventeen years ago.

HELP FOR A GOOD CAUSE

There are several ways to be involved. You can make a positive impact by volunteering to help or sharing a skill begin or join a fundraising campaign or make a donation. If you are in the retail sector perhaps you could donate a food and drink hamper or fundraise by way of a raffle, if you are in the mobility sector, you could donate some equipment, such as wheelchairs and other mobility equipment or even donate your time to help with moving and erecting equipment. If you are in a child care sector you can help by donating toys, books and warm clothing. If you work within the mental health sector could you offer some free time to support and help? Perhaps you can provide some clothing and food to our head office for us to donate.

What we do

At our charity we aim to provide food and clothing to families that desperately need them, assistance towards equipment, days out, and other activities within care homes and specialist services, and we also aim to help and provide assistance towards mental health well-being.

CARING FOR THE ELDERLY

We contribute towards basic requirements such as food, drink and medicines, warm clothing and bedding. We help out with equipment such as wheel chairs, hoists or similar, that help with mobility of our senior friends. We also pay for transport and other costs related to a day out for a meal and Christmas celebration costs. We even chip in to care home costs.
